Having issues with build - Page 2

That would be my best guess as well (the paste having worn off).

What I'd like to do is get some AS5 and a custom heatsink, any recommendations? (I don't want to re-use the stock one because it's just a risk I'm not willing to take and I'd rather just have it all ship at the same time from newegg)

AFP 7 is pretty good... I've used it before and there were no problems.

Thanks slngsht, was aware of that ;-) The AFP 7 has a whole bunch of negative reviews, including from people with the e6850 like I have though, it kinda concerns me...

haha just making sure. Then I would get something like the Tuniq Tower 120 (huge cooler that can be intimidating, but works well) or the tried and tested TRUE... (thermalright Ultra Extreme)

The AFP 7, Tuniq Tower 120, and Zalman 9700 are the three main ones I've been looking at and to be perfectly honest, the Zalman is looking the best so far (plus major price drop for the time being)
