The trouble I'm having is the memory seems to be crashing system. She doesn't want a really overclocked system just one that stays running. It only needs TOTALLY stable for her to keep her happy. I need the best settings that keep it good and running. PLEASE HELP ME. As all the poeple that are married

Take a look at This page from the Asus site. Download the latest version of Asus Update, and it will flash the bios for you from within windows. Read that documentation very carefully. Updating a bios is not something to be done lightly, but the asus update utility makes things much easier.

Oh, and if it's crashing a LOT... don't flash the bios when it's prone to crashing. If you have 2 sticks of ram in there, pull one out, test it with HCI memtest to make sure one of your sticks of ram isn't going bad, then if it passes a couple rounds, then you should be safe to go ahead and flash it.

No I don't is that a good number for that ram? I've read that having them unlinked is good but just not aware of a good voltage.

haha, no problem. I would hire the neigborhood geek to come in and do it for ya then. Once you see it done, you'll wish you never spent the money to have it done for ya.

Check your memory timings, it's likely that it's set at a weird setting default.

Mine was set funny when I first got my P5k SE
