I still want to find a good working Sony FW900 24' CRT. Only CRTs look good at every resolution LCDs cannot do that.

Not quite. Detectable refresh rate (temporal frequency) varies between 40 and 80 hz (depending on the lighting ratio of source to ambient light). Hertz is cycles per second, or in the gaming world, frames per second. So the eye sees 40-80fps. In higher lighting situations you can see faster. The eye can detect flickering (temporal separation) of equal intensity light sources at intervals as low as 5-15 ms.
