[NCIX] Antec 1200 Now Available. - Page 2

Hey mhsbrian, can I have the box it comes in? I'll mount everything in that and call it the Antec 1200CB (cardboard).

Low price point, same Antec construction. $60!

I have used the 900 which I didn't much like i know its said to be so great but there is to much plastic on it and I'm also no fan of the brand or the design of the case and this one doesn't look much better...

Not worth it for the price. I have the 900 series, and right now you can pick it up for $60. Two extra fans, one extra LED, and potentially a bit better cable management hardly justifies spending $180.

Just my 2¢

The painted or anodized interior is a nice touch. Should be standard IMO

true, it should be standard instead of regular grey steel, which is so ugly, But I do love the interior color.

Yea price is up there for the little extra's but it is damn sexy looking, Yea I like how they finally thought correctly about the cable management, its not just 2 extra 120 mm fans, they extended the height of the case, leaving 2 120mm fans directly on your ram-n-cpu"which is very nice for air cooling" with the 2 behind the ram-n-cpu"by the I/O panel" that exhaust's out all the hot air then below the 2 in front is another 120 that hits directly on your video cards, all in all, I like the design and concept of it, not really paying for an extra 2 fans, your paying the price for there design and name brand.

It is a way better design than the 900 imo.

Yeah...I can agree with that too I guess. I have some sort of second-gen A900 that came WITH holes for cable management, whereas some of the first ones didn't I guess? Either way, the case looks ridiculously good.

The price will drop eventually, the 900 was pretty pricey when it first came out. $130 or higher if I remember right.
