IBM and TSMC are both working on 32nm and below lol. They were not late. Theres tons of different factors that determine when they can do a process shrink.

How about it not be about sales and about profits.

Even with the poor Gamecube sales, Nintendo made the most profit compared to Sony and MS

  1. More must own titles
  2. games that are multi-platform selll more on the 360
  3. games that are multi-platform usually look better on the 360
  4. Sony lost a nice amount of exclusives to the 360
  5. xbox live has more users then the psn
  6. the 360 has a bigger online video market place
need i go on?
7- It has the highest failure rate ever for a console

lol

PS3 vs XBOX360 will never end
just enjoy playing with your console

...and that's why I don't own one. I have friends that spend more time without their 360 than with because they never work. I bought my PS2 a month after it was introduced (I don't remember exactly when that was), but it's still going strong.

If this new 360 is reliable, I would condsider purchasing it over a PS3. Losing BR functionality would suck, but there are a lot of games on the 360 that aren't on the PS3. The only bad thing is, my favorite game (Gran Turismo) is only on the PS3. Decisions, decisions....

Anyway, hopefully this new 360 is a good product for diehard 360 fans who just want a reliable console. Good luck
