8800 GT evga SC.

Thread Starter
as nobody actually gave any attention at all to all of my questions in the previous thread ... im gonna make a new one
I would like to know how to OC my 8800 GT evga superclocked ...i tryed with ati tool for artifact scanning and rivatuner for OC the clocks
thing is im getting some yellow dots on the artifact scanning thingy
like 1 little red yellow dot every 2 min
I hardly doubt its because of the temperatures since now they are 64 idling
cooler working @ 100%
I would like to buy a new cooler for my video card what would you recommend me?

At 55% fan speed, I can OC 2 8800GT SC cards easily to 724/806/1000. I only use ATI tool to test the overclock. You can also modify the bios very easily to increase the voltage to the GPU from 0.9v to 1.1v. I did this and didnt notice any real change in temps. As for a card cooler, there is the Thermalright HR-03 cooler (takes up 3 slots), the Accelero (takes up 3 slots) and the Akimbo from eVGA (takes up only 2 slots). Note with the Akimbo that you have to flash the bios to the Akimbo bios as it supports the fan mode for the new cooler.
I thought I answered your questions...
