Help- USB devices killed by Vista update!

Vista messes us up again!

I am having a problem with "unidentified device" but I did my research and this person is having the same problem.

As you can see, if I can roll back my system or uninstall that update, I think I'll be ok. Does anybody know how to do that?

Try doing a System Restore to just before you updated (It should have automatically created a point before it updated). That will take it back to before it was installed.

Nope apparently no system restore points...
I googled some more and found a post saying If I tell the installer to look for driver updates in Windows/sys32/winsxs it will work- and it did!
No more problems .
