i still say they need to make a gpu dual core (2 cores on one die or 2 cores connected together on different dies (like intel)), or even a quad core gpu would be awesome.... 2x HDXXXX x4

All GPUs are technically multi cored already.

If you want the "Intel or AMD" core difference... then 9900GTX here you come.

Uhhhh...don't they already do this? 3870X2 and Nvidia's equivalent? Aren't those just 2 GPU's on one PCB? Besides, a gfx card is basically a ton of tiny cores all working together anyway...
