Be forewarned however... 4 sticks of ram in an AMD system isnt the most stable combination that exists... I removed two of my ram sticks and was able to achieve stability with my 5600+ at 3.4ghz per core instead of my current 3.2 (with 4 sticks).. right now even if I try 3.25 my system has a kanipshtt
4 dimms of RAM on AMD machines are absolutely fine. You just need to change the RAM timing to T2 in the BIOS if i recall. Sometimes not even that, for me i just popped it in according to RAM population rules so that dual channel didn't effect 2 different brands of RAM (i use 2 1gb of Wintec and 2 1gb of Kingston.) Additionally with 4 dimms i can get 3ghz on stock volts, same as with two. Allot of it depends on the mobo and such, but i suggest under clocking the RAM and working it's way up.
In short : Few tweaks and your fine.
