Vista Home Premium - Internet TVbeta Help

I'm a vista noob. I have it installed on my main, and I only use it when I feel like some Crysis or COD4.

Got a laptop with Vista Home Premium, and started exploring a little. Aparently Home Premium has Media Center included, and there is a Internet TV thingy.... I just can't get it to run. Every time I click it, I get a message saying I need to update. As far as I know I have all the updated, Windows Update shows 0 available...I don't think I have SP1 installed...doesn't look like it in My Computer/properties...but every time I try and installed SP1 I get an install error.

Every Media Center update tells me "Update Not required on this system" or something along those lines...

Any thoughts on how to get the internet TV thingy workin? I'm not really expecting too much out of it but I at least want to play around with it.

I also get an "Unknown application" and/or "Unable to Launch" in Media Center when I try and look at any online media.
