Random BSOD's help!

Thread Starter
This problem has been ongoing for about a week but increased in frequency over the last couple of days.

Random BSOD's including:
Bad Pool Header
ntfs.sys
IRQL Not Less Or Equal
Page Fault In Non Paged Area
Systemroot\\System32\
tdll.dll

I have run chdsk /F twice as well as the WD diagnostics. First chdsk corrected a number of errors. Subsequent check ran perfectly.

Running memtest showed errors on first pass. I re-seated the RAM and it ran for 30 passes - around 7 hours with no errors.

This morning it blue screened again and on reboot displayed:

"Scanning Bios Image in Hard Drive.

Bios auto recovering..."

Eventually booted to windows and now the O/C has been lost.

Another memtest showed immediate errors.

I'm currently running memtest on single sticks in different slots to see if I can isolate bad RAM.

Advice needed!!!

Can I safely assume this a RAM problem and the abobe were signs of failing memory?

Thanks!

hey sup, it looks like ram problem.
I would try to manually enter the rams manufacturer settings.
If your not overclocking, run the voltage at the desired setting as well.
See if that helps. GL!

Thanks for the prompt replies.

Looks like it was RAM. Running single sticks in multiple sockets caused one stick to fail altogether and would not post.

RMA time!
