Moving to London - Page 2

I have a US mailing adress too! Only thing is I can't get things like cases back because all the stuff I buy is taken back as hand luggage on the plane. I want a rocketfish case lol

Whoa, that's pretty cool. I checked the back of my PSU the other night and didn't see a switch and I was wondering what was going on, but now it makes a lot more sense. I'll see if I can dig up the manual or documentation to verify, but that sounds like it makes sense given the absence of a switch.

Definitely going to do a new build right before I go over--I've seen how much prices vary, and I have relatives in the UK and they always come over here to buy laptops, iPods, etc. so I'd be a fool not to do the same.

I'll definitely make a point of checking each electrical device individually. Thankfully I'll have plenty of time to do that, since I'm not moving for over a year. I'll probably just get a few new parts when I go over (surge protector, for example) because I won't want to have a million plug adapters hanging around.

I'm guessing the monitor might be a bigger hassle, but it's a piece of junk anyway so I might just get a new one. Hooray for incentivized upgrades!

Oh, buy a new system before leaving the country. Everything is gonna cost 10-50% more!
The UK IS a member of the EU They don't have the Euro currency, but that's a different matter altogether.

These are the TX's, but the same applies to the VX and HX series.

He can also look on the back of the PSU. It will say 110-240v.
