There is no way I'm spending my hard earned money on slower technology (AMD) than I could (Intel) because AMD haven't got that great a market share - the problem is AMD are putting out mostly rubbish; if they put out a decent CPU they'd be fine.

They had years when 939 was completely dominant over Netburst; what innovations did they come up with? None. AM2 sucked to be fair, with little improvement over 939. What did Intel do? Came up with a completely new architecture which wiped the floor with AMD.
