DX9

Why?

1)Crap computer
2)Gfx card doesn't support DX10
3)WinXP
4)Not interested in current DirectX 10 games

DX9. I can't see the point of suffering such a huge performance hit for... nothing. IE, CoH... It looks exactly the same. When i saw i was running all my games in DX9, i thought, may as well reap the extra performance.

when i go for an X2 or better and a Q6600, then maybe i'll return to Vista, but for now, Server 2k3 is doing me well

You realize a game needs to support DX10 to game in DX10.. not just vista.

Also, Directx 10 takes awhile to take affect just like DX9 and DX8 did. They also ran like crap and had very little benefits over the previous version. It takes like 2years for devs to really get a hold of it and start making good games that utilize it and run well.

COH looks the same in DX9 as DX10? It looked way better for me...

LOTRO is a good example of DX10, it runs smooth and it offers alot better graphics all around than the DX9 version.
