Samsung 226BW vs 2253BW

Thread Starter
Just wondering what the difference is. Around 2 months ago the 226BW was ~320 bucks, but I can no longer find it on newegg.

The 2253BW is only 280 bucks. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001268

Is the 2253BW an updated model? Why did the price go down? What happened to the 226BW?

Thanks a lot, I'm thinking of getting the 2253BW once I have the money

I would presume that it is the replacement... I have the 226BW, and it is nothing short of ****ing amazing. The 2253 looks nothing like it.

Yep, it's the replacement. They're both great monitors. I also have the 226bw and it's nothing short of amazing. I presume the 2253bw is even better.

I thought the 226BW was replaced by the 226CW so that people actually got Samsung Panels instead of having to hope they got it out of 4 companies.

Oh then the 2253bw might be another line of monitors. Still since it's newer, I'd guess it has better specs.
