Overclocking My AMD X2 4400+ Socket AM2. - Page 3

Ugh... I still keep getting that error, i put the vcore back at 1.45 i even tried 1.5 but still 20 mins of ORTHOS and i get the error

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

could it be that i changed my memory timings from 5-5-5-15 to 4-4-4-12?
because i ran ORTHOS for 3 hours last night and it was fine but now its not

OK here are a couple things to keep in mind. Some AM2 MB's like a higher HT Link speed when OC'ed,mine is more stable at 1264Mhz at 3Ghz.Try it in the 1200 to 1400 range.Brisbanes can be picky about memory timings when OC'ed,try these settings.
2T
Trc 24 to 26
Trfc 105 or 127.5
Async Latency 6 to 8

Your memory is rated 1.9 to 2.1 volts at 4-4-4-15
I think you have it set at 1.9v 4-4-4-12 so I would bump the voltage and set at 15

You have a CAS Latency setting in the BIOS what are your options for it?

I was just rereading the thread and noticed that your on stock cooling which could be a problem. What is your temp while running Orthos?

Are you sure the cas latency doesn't go higher if you use the + to change values?
Looking for 8ns
