Man its tuff being a rookie at this.
The main cpu voltage is the "cpu special add." Increase voltage there

Maybe there is something wrong with my MB?

It was stable with 2 dimms, but not with 4?

Try 400*8, 1:1

All voltage values set to auto, vcore set to 1.38v.

I am stable with 4 DIMMS now. I had the mult at 8 and when I set it back to 9*333 it boots up into Windows. However CPU-Z and Core Temp show a mult at 6*333 so core speed is 2000. I don't understand that.

Also regarding my other question of how I control the main CPU voltage on this bios, there is no CPU VID Control option and CPU VID Special ADD is not the main CPU voltage control its only used to fine tune voltage.

The fluctuating multi is Speedstep, intel power saving feature.
Disable Speedstep in your bios, may also be C1E or EIST. Can't remember which.

IDK why your cpu vid control is not in your bios, it's my first voltage option.

Try a bios update yet?
