when i try and delete a song from my library, nothing happens, why is this? i just switched to vista about a few days ago too, is there an update i need? i already did windows update too

sometimes when a track fails to delete on my rig its because another program is using it .....

close WMP & find the location of your music then delete from there .....
also close any download managers or torrent apps u have running
they might be holding it up

just a thought....

It's because it's Micro$oft, mwahahahah.

No seriously, you can try deleting wmplibrary db file in:
c:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\Microsoft\\Media Index

*This will delete the entire library data.

Do you mean the song just sits when you delete it, or it dissappears but returns when you re-open mediaplayer?

no other programs were using them

ill try doing that, i just want to delete them from WMP, not my music file

it just sits there, like it doesnt effect it, it will give me an error like
the file has been moved, so i keep trying to delete them and nothing happens, i uploaded the songs again, with the library search, and now i have double of everything, and i can delete those, but not the original ones

The 64 bit DVD cannot be read in a 32 bit OS.
