Lapped Q6700 & Relapped TRUE with pics (*56K BEWARE)

So I got the Rocketfish and after finally getting over my fear of lapping a CPU, I decided to lap my Q6700 and while at it relapped my TRUE because I don't think it was very good the first time and I noticed there were some scratches on the surface.

Before the lapping began

200 grit beginning

200 grit halfway

200 grit done

320 grit

400 grit

600 grit

Finished product 1500 grit

200 grit

320 grit

400 grit

600 grit

Finished 1500 grit

The CPU lapping was pretty easy but i sanded off the tip of my forefinger and thumb so it was kinda painful. Now I understand how other people have gotten blood all over and not know until they realize they have also taken off their fingertips.

Just for comparison, I have my lapped Q6700 on 1.44v vcore paired with a lapped TRUE (for testing purposes) and a Scythe Kaze 110 CFM fan with a 25mm spacer (old gutted 120mm fan) running Prime 95 load at 67°C ATM.

Well putting it in the new Rocketfish case I haven't noticed any changes in temps. It actually went up 2C. I think it's the circulation though but I'll be putting in an A.C Ryan Radgrillz later today and will see the temp diff. Before that though with just the TRUE lapped I was idling at 36C and 60-63C on load using small ftt with prime95 on 4 cores.
