I put a washer in place and it seemed to work before and I'm thinking it's just the case atm.

Rocketfish are not known for good air flow, we buy them to mod. Just add a blowhole and another 120mm intake and that should be good.

Ok got 5-6C drop in temps across the cores. And yeah I'm about to put a radgrillz on right now.

OK so original IDLE temps were 38-34C now idles at 32-27C across the cores and LOAD temps originally using Prime 95 small FFT test on all 4 cores was 63-58C and now it's 58-54C. Pretty happy about the lapping and I guess it was worth it to also lap the CPU.

Yeah it was just the epidermis but it was enough to get it bleeding a lot. Didn't notice it because when I was holding the CPU the pressure delayed the pain receptors so it was after changing grit size from 200-320 that I noticed the blood coming out. So be extra careful to not sand off your skin when lapping your CPU.
