If you want it all in one loop, go for the 480GTX, fantastic rad. On the cheap for dual loops, you can get 2 mcr320s which perform really well. Or if you want to spend the most money possible, you can get 2 thermochill 120.3 rads. I personally never saw a reason to pay that much for a thermochill rad, I like my 40 dollar swiftys.

Another good cheap rad, if you don't mind medium cfm fans is the BIX..BIX 360..These fans would be OK on it..86cfm Pana. These would be better..115 Pana-S/W...

I'd at least use the 120x38mm 86cfm on any rad, the 120x38mm fans have a higher pressure and seem to scavenge air through the rad better...

If I start with a single loop with the goal of cooling my Q6600 and my NB, switching my MB to the eVGA 790i.

Does this stuff sound sufficient?

Alphacool Laing DDC-Pump 12V Ultra
ThermoChill PA 120.3 Radiator
XSPC 5.25" Bay Reservoir
D-Tek Fuzion V2 CPU Block
EK 780i EVGA Northbridge Chipset Liquid Cooling Block ( I believe this will work on the 790i? )

Keep in mind I don't know much about water cooling. Will a 1/2" loop give higher performance than a 3/8"?

Does anyone know if the D-Tek Fuzion v2 block is obtainable anywhere?

Get all your stuff at www.petrastechshop.com

Only thing they don't have are the 780i chipset blocks. They do have custom made mosfet sinks for the 780/790i though.

I can get some stuff from Petra's, thats works.

Whats the best fittings to use on the Thermochill 120.3, and the Fuzion V2 CPU Block, are compression fittings safe to use?

Compression fittings won't fit with the fuzion, the barbs are too close together.

yes it makes sence. Also the water cooling of the GPUS is always a good idea. Much less noise.

Any idea if this will fit the 790i board? I suppose I could use compression fittings on this?
