Don't forget many folks could be over clocking for the first time and they read something about VID not fully understanding what it is and the significance if any of it and it is just an basic fundamental error that we all go through.

Well you would get a pretty penny for your L737B154, I sold mine and regretted it, but was lucky enough to get a second which I will keep.

Yes, I see your point. Somebody on OCN would have gotten a hold of a lower VID chip by now as well probably. Selling isn't worth it unless I could get a replacement for a reasonable price. The Q9450 doesn't impress me at all, the Q9550 you can't find. The E8500 is good, but it went up in price (should have bought one at $189 when they came back out), and I refuse to buy a $1000+ QX version of anything. Might as well stick with my 1.20 VID Q6600 for now.

name a program that you use every day or even a game that uses a quad core. aside from photoshop or pinnachle a quad core is useless at this point in time. maybe by next year but by then intel will release its 8core processor

I actually do use Photoshop a lot so I love the Quad. Even without multithreaded apps, Quads are good for people that do a lot of multitasking.
