Whats up? It had worked before and I don't know what could have changed in the mean time.
I have Had this problem, and every once and a while still do.
Make sure, if you have a Dual Head Card, Make sure if its a VGA and DVI You have it to DVI with an adapter, (the cards, set dvi to the prim.. but the mobo, and bios, change the VGA to def. by picking up the monitor.)
But the newer dual heads, sometimes windows, will not detect your monitor.
Go to Display-Properties, Monitors,Click where it says, (Card name here) Default monitor.
and click it. and if it says (card name here, on your monitor type) Use that.
Thats waht worked for me. Drivers.. didnt really help.. no matter what vers, i had. i figure it out by using ATi tool as well, because it kept telling me, not right monitor.
