Cosmos s Air Flow?

New to this. Just got my cosmos s today and was wondering what direction the fans should be facing for best possible airflow. Also i plan on getting a zalman zmfc2 fan controller (dont care if i cant see it from the side) and want to know which 4 fans would be best to connect to it. my mobo can connect 2 fans plus cpu fan. Each fan is labeled in the pic. you can simply put 1=in/out for example. Thanks

I'd have the top 3 and the rear fan as exhausts, front as an intake (I'd add another there if I where you), bottom as an intake. Does your model have the side panel fan?

From the specs, that controller doesn't put out much amperage on the seperate channels. It quotes 0.7A which equates to about 2 typical 120mm fans/channel (~0.3A each). The Sunbeam controllers put out more than double that and can run 5+ 120mm fans/channel. The 4 channel Sunbeam is only $16 at Petras and the 6 channel is $35. While they are not as "cool looking" as the Zalman, they are very good and will last you for years. You'll need to buy some 3pin splitters or splice some fan wires together to use more than one fan/channel. Effectively, you could run all your fans off either of the Sunbeam controllers.

If your 9700 is blowing out the rear, use one of the top front 120s as a intake to blow across your RAM and feed your 9700. I have my CM690 setup this way. Make sure you put a 120 in that bottom spot. It feeds your GPU directly.

Front and top as intake.
Rest as exhaust.
Add another fan on the bottom next to the expansion slots and use that for exhaust.
