heres what im thinking of ordering today.. trying to stay on the 800-850 budget.. not to up to date on intel as I am a former amd guy. want a system strong enough for the newer games im hearing about such as crysis. if theres anything better or changes i should make let me know. im trying to stay tigerdirect/newegg because i plan on financing the parts.

those are my main components, ill be throwing in 2 sata 320gb hd, and sata dvdburner, and i have 4gb ddr2 800mhz memory already. and ill be using that big cpu cooler that holds 2 120mm fans.

Case, PSU, and mobo look ok (although don't expect the Quad to clock too high on that mobo.

As for the GPUs, 256MB will bottleneck you at any res over 1024x1280. Go for 2x 512mb 8800GT, or if you can't afford it get 1x 8800GTS and get a 2nd one later if you need it, or go for 2x 9600GT 512MB.

I wouldn't go for the 256mb 8800gt, just go for one 512mb 8800gt or a 512mb 8800gts. I wouldn't go for the 680i either, a 750i or 780i would be better if you really want sli. Everything else seems fine
