Driver Details

Thread Starter
Well I have spent some time the last few das trying every driver out there for nvidia, not for any particular reason, just to see what gives me best performance..

All drivers I run same OC on, so I cant comment on which give best OC results.

tried
174.xx
175.xx
169.25 (official)
169.25 (OMEGA)

But I ran all versions of 174.xx and while they performed very simalar, they were a bit low on FPS from my current. Also left a 3dmark score about 500 points low, obviously because of FPS.

175.xx seemed a tad bit better the the 174 in games, loading and save games in crysis seemed smother. But again, lack of FPS, and almost 800 les in 3dmark because of it..

So my still favorite driver is the 169 OMEGA (which are just a trimmed down version of official), games run smooth, higher FPS. I have to say I am very impressed with them.

So i just wanted to air this out there to see if anyone else has any feedback on some driver improvements I am missing.
But it really goeas game to game with them...
Im currently playing- Crysis - COD4 - BioShock - Turok(dont like it) - and about to instal Rainbow 6 V2 again(but i heard it has SLI issues)

That's pretty interesting. I recently took the 175.12 BETA drivers and customized it for my integrated HP card and that gave me a decent boost over the HP drivers as they were oooold. (like June 2007 old).

Ill look into customizing the OMEGA drivers for my card
