p5e and cl4 and cpu voltage problem

Thread Starter
im using rampage bios 209 and if im using 4-4-4-12 my pc will boot up and when im playing a game for like 10-15 min there comes a blue screen which tells me i need to reboot and restart bios settings
if i put on auto timings evrything works fine
my bios settings
multiplier 9x
400 fsb
333 fsb strap to nb
cpu voltage on auto ( if i change it pc wont boot even in bios)
nb volt 1.49
fsb termination volt 1.42
loadline calibration enabled
cpu gtl reference 63x
nb gtl reference 73x
dram voltage 2.04 ( i've been told p5e mobo needs -06 to have the wanted vram )
cpu spread spectrum disabled
pcie spread spectrum disabled
and if you could help me with the 2nd problem by changing the cpu voltage that would be really helpful aswell
cpu temps are 50-50-47-50 i afford to have those temps since im playing cod4 and it only uses like 20% of my cpu and i got a GO stepping

Two things you can try: set your tRFC to >60 and/or increase VNB up to 1.61V.

I had a couple of sets of the Corsair XMS PC6400- both rated 4-4-4-12 and 5-5-5-18, neither one would run CAS4 withuot a more than stock voltage on the VDimm and at least 1.6VNB.

could also be that your CPU OC isn't stable. You might need to up your vcore above stock (but you need enough to actually get into the bios)
