Second, 1.5v is only the jedec spec voltage for DDR3 ram, you DEFINATELY need to increase it. At that bus speed you have set it should probably be around 1.7 to 1.8, depending on the ram. You should also still be able to use 9-9-9-26 timings at that speed. Either way, if you could let us know what modules you are using that would help a lot so we can be sure about the specs.
Also, you probably need to increase your NB (nvidia calls it the SPP) voltage a tiny bit. 1.35v should be good I think. Any higher than that shouldn't be necessary without more overclocking.
EDIT: Since you say the default voltage for that ram is 1.5, set it to 1.55 or 1.6.
Ok... I just tried everything you suggested; I increased the spp voltage to 1.35, I increased the ram voltage to 1.5, and I changed my memory timings. I still only boot about 1/5 times. Also I tested each memory slot with each stick individually, and I got no coherent results. I am gonna try calling evga... oh by the way here is my ram
SO I just called EVGA and the dude I talked to said that he thinks it's power related... he told me to unplug the psu from the mobo, remove the battery, reset the cmos, and reflash the P04 bios. If that doesn't fix the problem, RMA the board. Ugh Edited by om3n - 5/11/08 at 4:51pm
