I think I'll be giving Vice City a re-install. It's one of the few games where you actually feel important owning nearly the entire city. I also only got about 50% through San Andreas and just sort of went "meh". The constant gang fighting got to be a colossal repetitive pain.

I'm trying to re-play GTA3 but one of the missions seems to be bugged, not allowing me to progress further.

GTA3 was awsome. I played it through again not long ago.

I started playing GTA:SA last year. I still play it on and off but I reinstalled and now GTA:SA won't run at all. QQ It'll get half way loading and then crash. Damn Vista.

I just wish I could get the triggers to work on GTA III on my X360 controller D:

I tried XPadder and some Game Pinnacle or whatever thing ... both didn't help me.

you tried the official drivers? There is a driver for the wireless receiver that works for the wired USB. So far that has been the best driver for me using the 360 controller on windows.
