Eh, I'll take a look at how the pins work...
Also. it says this heatsink is better, but I can't find any place that sells it:

I guess it would be 12 bucks for a mounting kit if i didn't order both the kit and the heatsink on the same website. =P

I get both S1283 and S963, not sure why pic on frosty "looks" like un even, but both model I got is flat. I got 2 bolt on kit from them free too when present my proof of purchase. if you want 4heatpipe I will get the SD964 from Xigmatek.
bottomline the pic on frosty is ugly may be just because of the angle.

Hmm, on another website, some person said that if you email them, they'll send you a bolt mounting kit for free...

That's awfully nice of him!
I always thought the intel stock clips were genious, but then when I tried installing my old Big Typhoon with them...... nightmare. Reseated it so many times though that you kind of get good at it.

Bolt kit from Thermalright is genius though!

Anyways, the S1284 is coming out soon, don't know if I'll get that or the S1283.
BTW, the S1284 has bolts instead of pins, thank god.

I think...
