need help with setting up receiver to my X-fi

Thread Starter
I'm trying to set up my analog receiver to my X-fi platinum front IO panel, but i'm having trouble getting any sound out of it. My IO panel is working, at least the 1/4" jack is, but when i connect my receiver to the Aux L and R, i get nothing. I've tried using the SPDIF to receiver but still nothing.

the back of my receiver has a Phono, CD, Tape 1, Tape 2 (video) inputs on the back, which i've tried most of the combinations i could think and nothing...

anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

just use a mini-RCA IC from the back of your sound card to your receiver.
