Guess what guyz

My pc died on me again, ***F,the board lasted 3 months or so. How is this possible, they last less and less and less, im seriouly considering a cheap micro atx board, all those full boards whit oc features dies too quick on me, i was running at stock

I got slept and woke at 3 oclok, i saw the thing on, dammit, explored a bit then turned off. Was working fine, no problems, woke up at 630 am and tried to start it, fockkk the thing didnt worked, just a start for half second, had to disconect the power, reconnect, and the same just click and half second on... I now realized that I salvaged my super 600watt PSU, the best that i have had, (took the nice 120mm fan off) in the recent past.

I had that problem since the beggining, so i though it was the psu, switched to another one, lasted about a month, and again, went to buy another psu, the same crap,FFFFFFFF!!!! i I began to remove component by component to make it work, no luck, just left the video card, since i have to remove the board completly to take it out. Nothing, FFFF

Tested it outside, nothing!!!

I feel cheated, a friend here has the GAP35 and he is happy, it is a bit older.

Only 3 months, this is incredible!!!!

And now i have to do some cad work!!!

I hate my sister laptop!!!!: mad:

I test it today after leaving it connect all night. I put a fan in a header and jumpstarted it, it worked, ***, i put the cpu and jumpstarted it again, it began to beep indicating no ram, i then put my ram sticks, jumpstarted it and it turned on again, and beeped because it has no video card.

So i mounted it in the case again, and added the vid card, not worked, ***, i left the new PSU in place and whit the old PSU held by me I connected it and jumpstarted, and it worked, got into bios for a couple of minutes, then switched the psus again. Connected all periferals, cd and hd, minus the floppy.

I entered windows, and began to use the pc, internet, then turned off and connected the floppy, and no turning on again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I removed the molex from floppy and im here again....

***FF WTHHHHHH, what is going on??? I can RMA this way, it works, then dont, and im preety sure that there it will work, RRRRRGGGGGG

hmmmmmm...

ya know i had a similar problem that i still dont know what happened, grmlin of some kind thats lurking around here somwhere...

in short, same deal (more or less), GA 965P S3, worked great for long time, swapped C2D for C2Q, still chugged away. came home from work one day and hit power... lights, fans, no sig to display..... played around a bit, cleared cmos, got it running, shut down and no go again...
New PSU, same prob, new mobo bat, same deal... grrrrrr, had pc on side to get in n out easier, no probs.... stood it back up and BAM, locked up.... grrrrrr

was convinced it was mobo cause i tried every other scenario, got new one, no probs at all.....

Delemma is this, installed a PD 925 on the GA 965 and its running like a champ now, so nothings wrong with the board.....

Still dont know what the original prob was, 2 psu's, 6 diff sticks of ram, new batt.... damn grmlins i tell ya.... they send em here so i buy more stuff......

Is it bad to shut down your computer every time after you're done using it? I always turn mine off to save power.
