So, i just got my Q6700 on my evga 750i FTW mobo, but i seem to have a problem getting the proc pass 3.5ghz. i did the vdroop mod and that seem to help keep the proc stable @ 3.5, but anything else higher, i BSoD within 5min of getting prime95 going. Heres my settings in my mobo. I'm trying to get 3.8ghz as thats what most people are getting with my processor.

FSB - Memory Clock mode = Linked
FSB - Memory Ratio = Sync
FSB- 1400 (350x4)
Ram running below stock speed @ 700mhz due to linked @ stock timing

Voltage
CPU Core- 1.45625v
CPU FSB- 1.40v
Memory- 2.10v
nForce SPP- 1.50v
NF200 Voltage Level- Auto (1.35v)

GTLVREF lane 0- Auto (+00mv)
GTLVREF lane 1- Auto (+110mv)
GTLVREF lane 2- Auto (+00mv)
GTLVREF lane 3- Auto (+00mv)

Also i got thing proc cooled by a Lapped Tuniq Tower, but i tho my temps are kind of high, i apply AS5 on my proc using the recommend instruction as posted by artic silver's website (link to instructions -http://www.arcticsilver.com/pdf/appinstruct/as5/ins_as5_intel_quad_wcap.pdf)

My ambient Temp is around 30c

My Load temp using core temp 0.98.1 =
Core 0- 73
Core 1- 73
Core 2- 71
Core 3- 71

Load temp using RealTemp 2.5
Core 0- 68
Core 1- 68
Core 2- 66
Core 3- 66

Is my temps too high?
Again any help is greatly appreciated.

Id try going at the cpu with mem set to auto, once cpu is stable then adjust ram to linked/synced... also a x9 multi will put ur ram at 800 - fsb of 1600 and cpu at 3.6

check out my guide on the 750i ftw in sig, also link to a great ftw OC thread with alot of ppl using this board ther too
