What's killing my memory?

Thread Starter
I have had two sets of memory die on me now. The first set was a pair of G.Skill modules that I thought I might have pushed too hard (not so sure now) but the new Mushkin sticks I got to replace the G.Skill just got assassinated as well. The Muskin sticks were running below their rated speed AND voltage. Airflow is not the problem (I have about 160cfm going through my case) because none of my other components (CPU/GPU) seem to be suffering from high temperatures.

So what is murdering my memory? Is it the motherboard in the case with voltage or is it the power supply in the case with the amps? Is there any way to tell if it's either or?

Motherboard. Only thing I know that can cause that much ram to die.

Look around online and find out where the measure point is for your memory voltage on the board. Use a multimeter if you have one to measure the voltage on your board.

Not sure if that board overvolts or not but alof of boards can overvolt or the voltage settings in the bios dont jive with real voltage going to the ram.
