What was the point of that? I say your post was instant fail, due to its terrible spelling/grammar.

OP: I think someone put a refurb card in a new box and took the new card. Explain the situation to BB; they should work with you to get you a new card.

Well I did get a response from BFG:

"Hello I am a supervisor at BFG, and I've looked into your situation. Looking
up the serial number, I have verified that your card did go through an OC
testing process at our warehouse.

BFG Tech randomly selects cards that will be going to customers to test for OC
functionality, and to verify that the products are working as intended.

IOn those tests, the plastic anti-static bags are reused after the testing
which has no effect on the functionality of the bag.

However, your card should not contain "fingerprints" for the most part, as in
we try to make our testing process as transparent as possible.

You can feel assured that we run this process to verify the satisfaction of
our customers such as yourself, and if there are scratches or any other notes
of wear, you can return the card to your retailer for an exchange.

I'm sincerely sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

Thank you,
BFG Support"

At least they responded even though it took awhile. And I returned that card and got one that was untouched.

I have 2x 7800GTOC's and now this one all from BFG. The 7800's ran perfectly. Except for the fan ran at 100% after the computer coming out of standby. Glad they fixed it on my new one! I'm just glad that they keep records of their testing I'm also glad that I didn't get a bad 9800
