Vista Question

Hello, I want to upgrade to 64 bit Vista but it says i need a 64 bit processor is the E8400 a 64 bit processor. Aslo what is better the download or the dvd?

the 8400 is 64 bit......

get the DVD nothing better than having the original disc if u encounter problems

Are you planning to just upgrade your 32-bit Home Premium to 64-bit home premium. Just call microsoft, I think its $10 for the 64-bit dvd, just use your current key.

You cannot upgrade a 32bit OS to 64bit its a clean install only. No upgrades.

Last time I looked you cannot transfer a 32BIT license key to 64Bit software.

you can enterprise the key only determines which version you get,ie HB,HP, ultimate but 32 and 64 bit keys can be used with each other

Well I knew it determined which version but I had trouble in the past when it came to addressing and the key in use.

* Sigh *. MS really need to sort it out.
