Overclocking Q6600 on IP35-Pro

Hi guys, Completely new to overclocking. Im running stock air cooling on my new computer, a 120mm fan mounted in the case, thats it.

It runs at a good temp, ill post pics.

It seems there pretty cool, So how far do you think i can go with OC'ing my .... G0 revision'd q6600?.. I'd like to OC it to atleast 2.8 or 3.0 what do you guys think... and please tell me the frequencies i would need, and again, i have a IP35-Pro motherboard with pretty much stock cooling.

edit: i turned fan speed up and it went to 37 celcius instead of 39.

but using core temp it says 50, i dont know.

All stock expect FSB at 333.

Use CoreTemp for temps, dont use SpeedFan.

Don't overclock your CPU. Get a new cooler first. Because your temps are way to high (Those are idle temps right?). You should stay under 70 with OCCT2 load.

My room is cold, there is cold air blowing out of my fans in my computer, is core temp for real? or is speed fan?, On my Fan Controller in my computer it says my cpu is 39 celcius aswell, i think core temps lieing to me.

I really dont know what to trust.

SpeedFan lies. Core Temp are correct.

I would trust CoreTemp and HWmontor, your temps are about 50C.
