Overclocking Q6600 - Page 2

End point, you can raise your CPU volt but I don´t recommend it and watch your temp.

You may reach 3,6 but with to high volt and temp so maybe it´s not worth it.

3,2 - 3,4 is not bad and the different between that and 3,6 is not that big in performance.

this question should prolly be in the water cooling forum man .

but, installing a CPU cooler is not just about the cpu cooler, its also about the size of the water hoses, the size of your radiator, and the flow rate of your pump. you could have the best CPU block in the world, but if your pump sux ballz then it wont do very much fer ya

hope this helps

I have the same board and CPU as you do. Running at 3.2Ghz using 8x multi and 1600FSB linked and sycn'ed with my Memory set to 800. Requiring 1.375V at the BIOS.

Orthos load tested for 14 hours. I can boot into Windows using 1.5V at 9x400, but dies at the start of Orthos load test. Didn't bother to shoot for anything less since I really don't even need to run 3.2GHz.
