Cooling solution for my evga 790i NB? Please help

Thread Starter
Hello. I am building my computer and I just realized that evga's included chipset heatsink fan blocks off the first pci-e 1x slot. This normally wouldn't be a big deal but that is the slot I was planing to use for my sound card, and I don't have anywhere else to put it.
Can someone please help me figure out a way to cool this without using the little fan they provide please? I am thinking that this will involve mounting a fan somewhere else to blow over it (which is why I decided to post this in the air cooling section). This will be a bit tricky because my WC tubes are taking up quite a bit of space.
Thank you for all of your help.
Here is the problem area:

I just checked and that is the way it is set up in the manual.
Also there isn't a way for it to mount to the other side.

Yeap after looking at pics from Newegg between the 780i and 790i, the NB layout is different like the pic above.

What about one of the other PCI-E 16x slots, it should work fine in one of those.

The answer lies not in replacing the whole ''chipset'' cooling, but rather the problematic ''fan'' which you people seem to be ignoring as a figment of your childhoods.
