Who else loved Crysis?? - Page 4

ahhh!!! spolier please put a spolier alert next time . Some of us have it but are in the process of making buying the proper h/w.

I don't care what you say about crysis. Its going to be the my second MP game that I play(first was CS offcourse got addicted to it at one stage ) .I just got cable like last year but didn't have the h/w to play proper games.

I am going to enjoy playing it no matter what setting.

The main strong point of crysis was the moding community. Why not download the mods when they are free .

What I didn't like was the ninja boats, and right before I went out of the alien ship (I was in the room where the exit is), I ran out of ammo... so I had to start grabbing the aliens that charge at you and throwing them at walls with strength mode.

It was a bit frustrating since it took a while, and when I went outside I was like "AMMOOOOOO!"
there's a ton of ammo in the alien ship, there are a couple small chambers that appear to be full of junk debris but also in them are tons of ammo for the weapons. It took me awhile to find my way through this part but it did look cool inside there.

Loved it and I thought it lived up to the hype. What was everyone expecting? "The Matrix?" It turned all our PC's into piles of molten garbage so there ya go... It made everyone go out and by 8800 series card in single or sli just to play the game at high settings. I did think the alien thing could have been better but even so... Every game has a part I don't like in it.. Regardless I played it from start to finish quickly and that doesn't happen too often these days. I get sick of games about half way through, but not this one.

I think it gave graphics a new standard... Not so much for the eye popping graphics, but mostly for the ambient effects taking place throughout the game. Everthing was alive. The AI was sorta generic and the repetiveness of the Korean's dialog got old quick. However being able to complete the missions in different ways made up for any repetativeness. It had a bit of everything, FPS, driving, tanking, flying, boating, swimming... You can't beat that. After going from Crysis to COD4, I thought damn... COD4 is so stagnant for ambient effects...

I think my favorite thing to do was to dive deep, turn on super speed and breach out of the water like a dolphin onto some rocks and gun everyone down.

In fact, I think I'm going to give it another run over the next week or so.

Umm graphics are one thing however crysis has pretty terrible game play compared to COD4. The graphics in COD4 are actually very good also.

Crysis is also known as CRYFAIL and Crytek is also known as FAILTEK

The game wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't horrible either. I enjoyed it and look forward to what comes next. I think a lot of the bashers are simply the type of people that will bash ANYthing that has been hyped. The more it's hyped, the more they "hate it". Even if they LIKE the game behind closed doors, they'll publicly bash it just to be "different" and go against the masses...

For a game with so much hype u would expect it too be good.

It met my expectations and I considered it "good" (not great). I've been playing games long enough to not get caught up in the hype.

anyone else thoroughly enjoy this game?
I can't say I loved it, but it was pretty cool. It might have been better and as anyone I have a ton of suggestions on how to improve it that would suit no other than me, but I'd say it was probably among the top 10 of 2007.

Loved campaign except the alien level...also the multiplayer IMO sucks...takes too long to kill someone and not alot of people play. There are only about a dozen active servers.
