Thread Starter
Ok so I'm up to 2.4 now and one of my cores is hovering between 49 and 50C and the other is still down near 40 C. Why? I'm confused.

If you're confident about flashing to a newer BIOS, then I'd go ahead and do so. To be honest, it's impossible to tell whether or not that would help, but you have the best reason of all to switch BIOSes (i.e., to see if the newer version adds functionality that is missing in an older version).

Good luck!

hey man seems you and i have the exact same cpu+mobo so heres what i did to get to 2.6

set your HT to 3x
your ram to 133mz i know its a lil slow like that but not much difference trust me
vcore to 1.4
and your fsb to 260 or 261, also your multiplier should be set at 11 if im not mistaken you cant change that iv tried or its very well hidden cus i cant find it XD

well there you go i recommend an AC heat sink freezer pro 7 if aim not mistaken
only go for 2.6 if you one of those or better the stock one will be to hot for it
