none of your links work.

based on your post, i can think of a few things.
1. I'm not sure if you've picked a dual or a quad, but any of the intel chips clocked at 2.66Ghz should get you well beyond 3.0
2. The tuniq tower is a great cooler (I've got one as well) and will work wonders at keeping your chip cool well past the 3.0 ghz mark.
2. you might want to do some research on the 750i boards, I think i read on here somewhere that they are prone to corrupting data.
3. As long as you have good ventilation in your case, the 8800gts shouldn't overheat on you. if you want the best performer, make sure to get the one with 512mb of VRAM, it is the new core revision and performs better than the 284 and 786 models.
4. G.Skill is a great brand
5. don't go cheap on a power supply. If you are going to spend a ton of money on parts, be willing to spend $100 or more on a decent power supply to keep your machine running well.

Case - looks good enough, will let someone with more expertise in this area help you with that.

Mboard - Looks like a good board, definitely capable of ocing quad cores to 3ghz+

Video Card - The 8800GTS G92 is definitely a good card. EVGA is a great brand and offers their famous Step Up program.

Power Supply - Looks pretty decent, has enough amps. Only problem I see are the amount of cables in your mid-atx case.

Memory - Looks good. Gskillz is a pretty reputable brand and 1066mhz will give you plenty of head room to OC your quad with.

Hard Drive - I've heard really good things about the 7200.11s. The 32MB of cache and dual platters seems to help especially in RAID.

CPU Cooler - One of the best Heatsink/fans.

Processor - Good choice, the q6700 offers you the higher multi of 10x compared to the q6600 of 9x.

Thermal Compound - TX-2 has been known to cool a bit better than as5 so good choice. I've heard it can get pretty messy though.

Amazing drive.
