2x EVGA 9800 GX2

Thread Starter
Hello everybody.
I'm about to build my new system with 2 9800 GX2 and the Intel QX9770 over a EVGA 790i.
Do you think I'll have to use a 1200W PSU or a 850W will be enought?

Thanks

Get a really powerful one... That system will need alot of juice. I would get 1000+ watts, probably from PC P&C

my friend did it with a 1300 PSU, 850 would be pushing it, since it probably uses about that full load.

Unless your building a system tonight or within a few weeks, why not start off with ONE GX2 and see how you like it and how it compares to the newer very close coming cards...? seems silly to invest that much in technology that was produced as stop-gap when the gap is so close to being bridged
