You have a LOT to be excited about. If you are a fan of story driven gaming, then you will love it.

Even then, the combat and the whole universe of content is amazing. This game was so perfect for me because I love story driven games.. and I love anything that has nothing to do with Earth.. and this game has very little to do with Earth (thankfully).

In fact, for my final speech in my Public Speaking course.. I gave a persuasive speech on why the human race needs to explore space and get off this planet. Like I said, perfect for me.

I'm playing through a second time, exploring some of the options I never tried in the first run.

I've been told by my buddy who has just beaten it for the 3rd time, he still hasn't explored all options.

Technically it's a third person certain...with a very Gears of Waresque cover and blind fire system incorporated. It's a great mix of third person shooter and rpg, and I can agree with angel on all his praise.

Hands down, without any question, even including half life 2, this is the best game I have ever played. I enjoyed it and STILL enjoy it more than any other game I have come across. I'm tempted to buy it for PC for what would hopefully end up in some cool mods/additions.

I'm playing through it my second time as well, though it's been a couple months since I got side tracked with school. I believe I have 4 more planets to fully explore and complete all the side quests pertaining to it. Plus I'm on a never ending hunt for better armor...need to get Colossus X for all my crew!

Colossus X sounds good lol.

Yea, when I say FPs, I totally meant 3PS.

I would have to say, with everything combined, this game probably is a tiny tiny tiny bit better than Half Life 2 for me..

The score, visuals, gameplay and of course stroy, just combine to make it a better experience than Half Life 2, but barely..

I love Half Life 2...but this game pulled me in so much more intensely than HL2 did. I love the RPG aspect...managing gear and getting better stuff is always fun to me. And the story line/super futuristic setting was just awesome to me. Really made me want to freeze myself until the time of the game haha.

Word of warning for this game...BEWARE OF THE ELEVATORS

QFT. Somehow in the future, humankind will be doomed to a time where we can move from planet to planet in a second.. but elevators will still function normally.

I think that put that in the game just for people to laugh at and be like "Wow.. the future looks promising.."

And quite honestly, I googled cryogenic freezing yesterday.. I'm 100% sure that I was born in the wrong period of time. I was supposed to be born in a time of space exploration.. or maybe it will happen during our lifetimes, and we don't yet know it.

I'm such a nerd.. I bought the soundtrack.. and I get chills just listening to it..

I swear to God.. this would be one of the best movies ever made.. and I totally want to be on that film crew.. if not directing.. I'll be an extra...

The soundtrack is so awesome to listen too.. remembering the visuals that came with it.. this score is almost as good as the score of the LOTR series..

When I film this movie.. you better believe I'm using a lot of the same soundtrack..

Heres an interesting thread I posted on the Me Forums.. its kind of funny, but totally serious:

Apparently they cut the elevators a bit in the PC version. We don't need the immense load times consoles need, so they fixed that (and lots of other stuff).

I've been reading previews on the PC port and apparently it's much better than the console version. I didn't play the original so I won't know, but I guess all you guys should pick up the port. The visuals look amazing at least

I have to agree 100% with ArchAngel. This game is legendary. I have already beaten it 3 times excluding the multiple times I restarted the game just to change character class, the system is very deep. If I was to compare this to anything it would be Knights of the old Republic 1 and if any of you played that, it had stellar reviews on PC and Xbox. No matter what, when this comes out on PC you must give it a try, at least the graphics will catch your eyes.

One of those games I got really addicted with... I played through the game several times leveling each class type to at least 40. Made 3 soldier variants and 2 adepts. It was like Resident Evil 3&4 for me - I played through those games several times too, hehe.

But I had to deal with this one nasty bug I didn't know about though. In the 360 version, adding a bonus skill to a class that already uses all skill-slots on the wheel (assuming you leveled a lot and got all skills) one other skill disappears for good! It happened to me a couple of times before I found out... but the game was so good so I decided to rebuild my spell caster classes from lvl 1. I got the game on release so I am not sure if BioWare had patched it.
