Boards, CPU's, RAM, GPU's

Well I found out that my dad's machine just had a dead PSU unit. It didn't even take anything with it (luckily). These parts have all been JUST tested out by myself, and they all work just fine. So what do you guys think they're worth? I'm thinking about parting out my sig rig (so throw those appraisals in there too for those parts listed), and selling this to hopefully fund a Quad Core rig. Anyways, here's the goods...tell me what you think they're worth:

-ASUS P5LD2 LGA775 mobo (rev. 1.02) with a Masscool 40mm blue LED southbridge cooler

-Intel Pentium D 925 Presler (I think that's right) 2.8GHz CPU with stock cooler

-XFX 6800 XT PCIe 256MB

-1GB Corsair ValueSelect DDR2-667 (hits DDR2-800 stable at 5-5-5-15) with Thermaltake blue heatspreaders (MASSIVE THINGS these are)

-ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe (never modded, never overvolted ANYTHING on the board)....one of the best SLI 939 boards made.

-GOLDEN Opteron 165 LCBQE...hits near 3.3GHz on air (not stable), 3.0GHz stable 24/7 on stock voltage settings

-2x1GB OCZ Platinum DDR500 (3,3,2,8,2T @ 250MHz, 2,3,2,6,1T @ 214MHz)

-Zalman CNPS 9500 AM2 (chrome / green LED model)

-Apevia 500w PSU (paid $59 on newegg...not the cheapy ones), its the next step below the "Iceberg" PSU's.

Well? What do you guys think I could get out of this stuff here?

Do you guys think I'd get enough out of the above to get a Q6600, good OC board for said Quad, good PSU, and 2x1GB DDR800?

OUCH! Maybe I won't be making the move to quad core! I just saw DDR500 being sold here at OCN for over $125 not even a month ago for a 2GB kit! Wow....I guess prices really drop down, huh?

Well, keep em coming....I'll average all these out, add them up, and see if it'll fund Pioneer a Dark Side rig.

If it comes down to it, I may just sell my X2 Gamer rig on Craigslist for roughly $600-700 or so....and build myself up that way...then move my opteron rig to a new case as well, and get new drives, etc....that way I still have my 939 stuff (minus the X2 rig), but I'd also have a Quad.

I dunno, we'll see. If I am able to do this within OCN, I will . Might as well let the enthusiasts have the enthusiast equipment, right? If not, Craigslist here I come though! I believe I need a grand total of roughly $550 plus a new case and drives for one machine to do this the right way.

Zalman could sell for my much more than what Leman is stating. I have the 9700 and it sells for $70.00 So i wouldnt sell it for less than $40........ Youll be able to get a quad and you will also be able to get some good ram. Just let it sell!

I dunno.....

Ditch an entire X2 rig on Craigslist
Build up an entire Quad rig with the money, and add a cheap GPU for sig rig

OR

Sell off sig rig (including golden chip, great RAM, etc....)
Be stuck with X2 Manchester and a Quad, and potentially maybe not have enough money???

I dunno, like I said, I'll see what the appraisals look like tomorrow or the next day or something. I don't mind ditching the LGA775 stuff I just got because I think it only supports PD's. I got it free from my dad anyway...he told me to sell it or do whatever with it.

Thanks so far guys...we might just see Pioneerisloud convert to the dark side sometime soon...who knows?

Umm no, check my sig. Refurbdoc on ebay is selling them for dirt cheap. I bought my zalman 9700 led for $35 shipped. I paid $25 shipped for my 9500NT. There was a guy selling a 4x4 system with two of them and asking $25 shipped for 9500's. The 9500's are just not in that much demand with the 9700's out there. You could try to get $30 since its an NT but it make take a while.

Also if you don't mind waiting you could easily add $5-10 more to each of my prices but if you want to sell quickly then don't.

Also any reason why you want to go quad?(I am not impressed with quads, your gpu doesn't get to share one gpu per core or more, I would go e8400. See how many people are trying to trade their quads for high end duals)

Well my idea is pure theory at this point. Just trying to see what options I may have at a possible upgrade. I believe I've taken Socket 939 as far as it can possibly go. Time to move onto something newer...even though 775 is getting replaced this year, I don't care. I'm ALWAYS at least a year behind in technology anyway.

I was just VERY impressed with the overall horsepower my dad's Quad 6600 at 3.0GHZ has to it. I just wanted something similar, that's all. My current newegg wishlist however DOES IN FACT feature an e8400 .

I dont know. Maybe an E8400 would do the trick. IMO quads are over rated. Just get a nice dual. See when coming from amd to core 2 its like a whole other world. Something strange I couldnt believe they could pack such a punch into a Core 2 dual. They did just that ... YOu wont even need a quad Pioneer. The quad guys are the guys who usualy bench. IMO Just get a dual.

Also to Lemans .. Sorry man I havent been looking anywhere for prices but the egg.

Believe me. If you got an E8400 which would do like 4.2ghz the quad wouldnt be able to keep up with you.
