HOW TO: Best $20 NB cooler ever *56K*

Intro Statement:
So I finally sold off my 939 system but was left with my old arctic cooler 64 Pro cooler... no one wanted it because of the extra shipping costs.... so, seeing no other uses for it, it was cannibalized into something you might find kind of nifty

Also, sorry for the bad quality pictures - I have shaky hands and this camera is crazy old

Let's Get Started - The Cooler:
The AC64 Pro's fins were first cut up with tin clippers then sanded down using a belt sander... it was already lapped, but I decided to give it a quick 1500grit polish

The Retention Mechanism:

This part took a bit of thinking over... all the items used were found in my home and cost no cash.... the stock 939 retention module was cut up with a dremel: mounting holes, and a screw added to the center... a hole for the screw was cut into the backside of the base of the cooler:

The Mobo:
A Blood Iron purchased from Marlaman for $85 (great seller by the way )... The warranty was voided by removing the stock NB cooler (this seemed very silly to me - I thought DFI to be better than that)... the stock compound was cleaned off and the exposed transistors protected from shorting with electrical tape...

Installation:

This part was a bit tricky.... it took quite a few goes and a good deal of patience on my part, but it finally got done... the screws I was trying to use were a bit too short so I had to resort to using some HR-05 screws I had lying around:

A crappy design I added... never was too good with fonts and my sharpies were blunt as hell (it'll be revised later) The Tuniq also has been installed - with a FM121 on full blast aiming downwards

Boot Up and Check:

I hooked everything up... the processor is my Q6600 (1.28v) - the ram is 2x1GB DDR2-1066 Tracers - the video card is a Galaxy 8800GT... I have yet to load up an OS on this new setup, so the following is only after a minute or two of running in the BIOS

The top most temperature is CPU, followed by PMW area, then the Chipset

I was actually thinking of doing this with my 680i, but it's currently in RMA and I'll be using an IFX-14 on it which kills any space for the NB... this would be perfect for an Antec 900 or CM 690 with a Tuniq or TRUE that's blowing towards the top exhaust

Oh come on guys, get off my back
I sort of attacked it with the tin snips when I got the idea then realized mid-way through that I had full access to all of my technical high school's equipment

The first try is always rough... I'm sure someone will revise this idea and make it look a lot prettier
