Heavy competition... esp. Corsair. At buy.com, the Corsair units are cheaper, and at least as good as these.

Hmmm... looks like OCZ paid extra for their own UL number E243823.
Once again...

My last OCZ PSU kind of crapped out on me.

These Impervios look pretty nice to me, although for this price I could do without the Teapos on the secondary.

Did PC P&C have anything do with these? For the price, you might as well get a PC P&C psu.

I think the Elite is the PC P&C tech + the OCZ tech combined isn't it?

For that price i would really want a modular. But if they are an awesome PSU then modular is a luxury rather than a necessity

I still don't think PC P&C had much to do with it. OCZ used Impervio for their OEM and the Turbo-cools are Win-Tact. For the price? The Turbo-cools are twice as expensive. Hardly a fair comparison.

Oh and here's a review for the Elite:

Well you can get the 750W PC P&C for $120 after rebate now:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817703009

But yeah, I guess the 1000W PC P&C is very expensive. I didn't realize those were so expensive compared to the 750W.

I have always been hesitant of any OCZ products how are they reliability wise? I notice that they are generally cheaper than other manufactures which tends to signal the warning sirens with me.
