OK. This is what I have come to realize. You'll only get the a2 core when it's assigning you an a2 core WU. Like a 2662. Or I think also a 2665. But Stanford needs the FahCore_a2.exe file you have replaced with the new one. If you don't have the a2 core. That's fine. It will give you the new one when you are assigned an a2 core WU (Like a 2662)

Lemans. In FahMon I noticed a difference. If it's folding on the FahCore_a1.exe it will show this in FahMon...
Project : 2605
Core : SMP Gromacs

If it's using the new FahCore_a2.exe core it will show this...
Project : 2662
Core : SMP Gromacs CVS <-----CVS

So it still uses the existing a1 core. But Stanford needs the existing a2 core replaced with the newly optimized one. And if it's missing. It will be replaced when assigned a new a2 WU.

Looks like you guys have a challenger! Team Domination. We may have to gang up on them.

I guess they are going to run a three member team, with 8 cores.

I fell a couple of spots, but I keep getting these junky 1920 and 3340 point jobs, they seem to take forever. Still happy though being that I am the top producer on my team and with two more teammates right behind me, also we are all with good company at the top.

Yes. And I just noticed I'm getting over 3000 PPD with the new core.

Well, the WU has to be one that uses the a2 core. Not all of them use that. You need to have a setting enabled in the config. I believe it's use advmethods or download WUs bigger than 5MB.

I think its advmethods, as I know I have that enabled on my main folder for the team.
Well, I went though and have configged everything and so I will just wait till I get a 2662 WU and hope it changes.

Yup it changed all right, now I know what you all mean by it changed teh way the % comes up.

Right now we are sitting at 282499, with the possiblility of hitting around 10720 max. So that puts us around 293219 max score. We had a lot of issues this month, ranger was down around 36 hours at one point, I have been down at least 30 hours myself due to issues, I know rx7 has had issues too. Next month will be bad with Ranger and I gone part of the month, so lets aim for a massive month in September.

To update we are now sitting at 291599 after the update, so we might hit 297,000.
