Argh! It's gonna be so freakin close! It would be awesome if we could be the first team to hit 300,000 though.

We had a lot of issues this month, ranger was down around 36 hours at one point, I have been down at least 30 hours myself due to issues, I know rx7 has had issues too. Next month will be bad with Ranger and I gone part of the month, so lets aim for a massive month in September.
We'll keep your number one spot nice and warm for you

I just had a thought actually. It wouldn't be against the rules to fold on one CPU core and fold on a GPU as well, would it? That would still count as two cores I'm assuming. If so... this might be a new way for us to make some gain!

I think we should change our name to "Smooth Sailors" just to tick off Rough Riders. lol

As long as you are aware that the GPU2 client has a cap of 2,000 PPD.

Edit: I have to check, but I believe the GPU2 client counts as 2 cores.

2nd edit: Here are the rules.

Console client = 1 per console
Graphical client = 1 per client
GPU2 client = 2 per GPU with a 2000 ppd cap Updated 6/18/08
PS3 client = 1 per PS3
SMP client = 1 per CPU core utilized

Dangit. You're right.

I really wish Stanford would fix the bug in the ATI client. When they do that, I'll be all over an HD 4850. They have great folding potential.

The Duke posted that he had a little jump with his ATI card. Here is his thread.http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...since-new.html

Hmm. I'll have to look into that. I think I'll still hold off on the HD 4850 though till after I've completed school later this year. I need all the money I can get. Hopefully everything will be sorted out by then.

Looks like we probably won't have to worry about Rough Riders too much next month. Hopefully we can keep 1st place through to the end of next month as well.
