Hey, don't forget about me! I'm here too you know

I came home to a big surprise today, a brand spanking new 5101 wu! It's the first one I've ever gotten, 1800ppd FTW! Hopefully its the last one I ever get. Check it out, I'm getting like 16min for every percent.

From FAHMON VMWare, with my Q6600 at 3.6 is putting out 1821 ppd, which is lower then my gpu folding.

Yeah. I just tried firing up VMware again on my rig and it really killed my GPU output. With both VMware and GPU clients running at the same time, my output was about 5,000 PPD, which is what I get with just my GPU client on its own. Oh well.

Perhaps I should try the Windows SMP client and see if that fares better with the GPU client.

Are you running 64 bit?

I would think that you'd be getting more ppd than that even with the GPU2 client running with the VMWare setup. What ppd do you get without the GPU2 client running?

I had a Q6600 running at only 3.5 with dual instances and was getting 5000ppd or 2600ppd with one instance running

I see the problem you have a 2165 point job, those are mean!!!

I am on my second one of those in a row.

H00chi3 actually ranger is right, but right now with the ****ty jobs ppd is killing them and gpu is the way to go, so maybe you should stay the course and gpu fold, remember though you can only fold under your name on one gpu or 2 cores of a cpu. If you fold any others we would be disqualified.(I noticed you bought another 8800GT)

Personally I hate that rule because if you are capped at 2k why does it matter how many cores are gpus you use
